Robert H. (Bob) Sanders,
born in Lakewood, Ohio, has a BS degree in journalism earned at Ohio
University. In a career justifiably described as peripatetic, he worked
in a variety of media jobs eventually becoming an
award-winning public relations professional in Chicago. His
employers have included the Cleveland Press, TV Guide, Playboy Enterprises,
Public Television, Field Enterprises (Chicago Sun-Times/Daily News) and the
Chicago Tribune from which he retired in 1989. He lives with his wife and
two bichon-frises in Bellingham, Washington where, as the writer of a
monthly newsletter, is a neighborhood activist. Sanders is the
author of an unpublished memoir, Media Rare.
